Gone but not forgotten - Terry Moxon

GBNF/TerryMoxon.jpg

Terry Moxon - Terry was one of those unsung under-the-radar types of quiz player who have a great deal of general knowledge but generally speaking don't go around shouting about it, you know, light under a bushel sort of thing.  He was a major player with the Beastfair Vaults team between 2005 and 2010, making 64 appearances in that short time.  We used to joke that he looked like the actor Lionel Jeffries, which he did.

His was another funeral at Pontefract Crematorium that was well attended and so that tends to say to me that he had a wider circle than just the quiz fraternity and commanded friendship and respect.

The Rockin' Gladiators introduced an in-house trophy that they present every year at our main Finals' Night which goes to their most hospitable team of the year that they select and they have named it the Terry Moxon Trophy in his honour.

Terry Moxon - died 2011
