Jack
Cockerham - Jack was someone I don't have a great deal of information and if
anyone would like to supply me with any more then it would be gratefully received, but he played for the Kippax Ex-Service
Club team in the Five Towns' Quiz League for six seasons from 2005-06 to 2011-12, accruing 57 appearances. Kippax
Ex-Service Club's team has gone through many metaphoses during their fifteen years with the Five Towns' Quiz League
and Jack was one of those players who played regularly right in the middle of that period.
Myself and the then Chair Brenda did go to his funeral
in Allerton Bywater and he was obviously a popular chap because it was well attended and he was well spoken of.
